Polytunnel Fitter & General OperativeLocation: Full-time Headquarters in Glenbrien Enniscorthy with the ability to travel occasionally.Summary:The candidate would be required to learn all functions and processes within a workshop environment and occasionally work in the nursery. As a general operative they will be responsible for the manufacture and production of polytunnel parts to meet the customer demands within given deadlines. They will be required to work as part of a fitting team to fit polytunnels on site which will include travel and occasional overnight stays. As a general operative candidate, they must be able to handle and prioritise multiple tasks while maintaining a schedule and keeping an organised work environment. On occasion, they will be required to carry out duties within the nursery which comprise watering, feeding order picking and other general nursery duties.Reporting:The candidate will report directly to Management and the D-Plant R&D team and will work on the workshop floor and on-site for projects of varying levels of complexity.The individual must have a keen ability to carry out innovative projects from start to finish.
